The B’babies are 9 days “old” today. Mommie Kira is doing a perfect job, very confident; she likes to take a rest in the garden or take a walk, and she keeps uncle Sisko out of the whelping room giving minimal signs without ever being bitchy.
Meanwhile the B’babies are gaining size and weight constantly, and they seem to change by the minute! They are more than a 1000 grams now. They still look more like guinea pigs than dogs, but they are happily crawling and staggering on 4 paws all through the whelping box. They can not get out yet, but who knows what will happen, when they have opened their eyes!
We are quite curious …!
Bear with me! It’s quite a job to take pictures of jetblack pups. I am not using a flash, so I am dependant on natural light, and that does not always work as I hoped for.
